The Foundation in Australia was established in 2019 with the launch of the Pilot Student Programme in Whyalla. Following the success of the pilot, we welcomed onboard our key strategic partners, CSIRO and Prince’s Trust Australia. These partnerships have enabled us to refine and develop the programme, as well as expand it to other key markets around Australia.

We now run programmes in South Australia (Whyalla), NSW (Newcastle and Tahmoor), Tasmania (George Town) and Queensland (Brisbane). Within these markets, we are expanding from the core Years 9 and 10 Programme to include a younger years programme for Years 7 and 8.

Alongside the creation, management and expansion of the Student Programme, the GFG Foundation also supports other key community initiatives.
